Lachlan Hanly

Lachlan recently worked at Microsoft, where he spent nearly five years as a Data and AI Specialist, and was fortunate to participate in the beginning of the largest societal change for decades. His new venture, Ten Squared, develops AI based products for Australian businesses.  

Lachlan’s startup experience includes the consultancy Bright Blue Solutions, which became Australia's leading Oracle CRM consultancy. He grew the business to 50+ employees, before divesting to an Australian public company.

With over 30 years of experience spanning government, engineering, enterprise technology, and startups across Australia, Europe, and the UK, Lachlan brings practical insights into how AI will create opportunities for companies in the years ahead.

Lachlan will provide a perspective on AI, combining historical context with current capabilities and future implications. Drawing from his insider experience at Microsoft, he'll provide unique insights into the AI landscape and demonstrate the technology's transformative potential. Undoubtedly, we are in an AI bubble, there will be winners and losers, but also there will be big changes which will impact many companies.
