David has been Chief Economist at BetaShares since 2014, an independent Australian fund manager, with $A 50 billion in funds under management.
David is a former senior finance commentator with The Australia Financial Review newspaper, and interest rate strategist with Macquarie Bank. His is also a former Federal Treasury and OECD economist, and a graduate of Adelaide and Harvard Universities.
David is quoted regularly in the financial press, including: The Australian Financial Review, The Australian, The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age. And he makes regular TV appearances on Sky-Business, CBNC and the ABC’s The Business program.
He is author of the investment book, The Australian ETF Guide.
