An experienced international finance professional, Dougal Elder joined Sayona Mining in September 2022 with a focus on driving the lithium miner forward into profitable production.
His experience includes serving in senior finance roles across a range of industries with more than $500 million in turnover, most recently at leading Australian agribusiness SunPork, with other previous roles including power generator InterGen Australia and KPMG Australia. His overseas experience includes serving as Group FP&A Manager for leading British food manufacturer Tate & Lyle and previously as Finance Analyst for British transport group FirstGroup.
A Chartered Accountant, Dougal gained a Bachelor of Commerce with 1st Class Honours from the University of Queensland.
