With over 30 years’ experience in financial services. David has been managing client portfolios throughout numerous market cycles. Through the use of in-depth research, strategic asset allocation, proven portfolio management techniques and derivative strategies, David has been able to provide his clients with superior returns while having the peace of mind to maintain a long term perspective
David provides management oversight of the Brisbane, Gold Coast, Buderim, Mackay and Perth offices of Ord Minnett. Prior to joining Ord Minnett, David has held management and advisory positions with Pitcher Partners Wealth Management, FirstUnity Wealth Management, Salomon Smith Barney, BNP Paribas, Prudential-Bache and Henderson Charlton.
David holds a Masters of Applied Finance, Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning, Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance, Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) and is a Fellow of FINSIA and a CPA and a member of AICD.
David has been recognised in the prestigious Barron’s Top 100 Australian Financial Advisers list in 2020 and 2021. He sits on the FINSIA Financial Advice & Services Council, is a member of the Investment Committee of QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute and of the Directors Circle for Griffith Institute of Drug Discovery (GRIDD). He was previously a Non-Executive Director of the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE) and Southern Districts Basketball (Spartans).
